Tiffany & Co. is back with another unique collaboration, this time teaming up with New York-based contemporary artist Daniel Arsham and Pokémon, building on the artist’s “Future Relics” vision.
The collection is comprised of oxidized sterling silver necklaces and pendants, designed in Arsham’s “Future Relics” aesthetic, where he reimagines everyday objects as archaeological discoveries from an imagined future. The collection is inspired by Arsham’s exhibition in Japan, A Ripple in Time, which features a variety of Pokémon works of art meant to evoke the passage of time.
The collection showcases a total of nine jewelry designs in three different styles, featuring six iconic Pokémon: Pikachu, Charmander, Squirtle, Jigglypuff, Cubone and Mew. The pieces display unparalleled creativity, artistry and design while reinforcing the House’s longstanding connection to contemporary art and iconic pop culture.
“With my latest project with Tiffany, we’ve recontextualized Pokémon—a nod to my 2022 A Ripple in Time project in Tokyo—to orchestrate a new narrative,” said Daniel Arsham. “With Pokémon and Tiffany, itself, there’s a sense of cultural permanence about each.”
First up, a pendant featuring the Pokémon followed by a necklace that includes all six characters and finally, a Pikachu pendant which lands in sterling silver and a limited 18k yellow-gold hue. The sterling silver designs arrive in a co-branded Tiffany Blue Box, complete with the Tiffany, Arsham Studio and Pokémon logos, while the special gold pendant arrives in a limited Tiffany Blue Poké-Ball.
Take a closer look at the Tiffany & Co. x Arsham Studio x Pokémon capsule collection, with prices ranging from $1,290 USD to $29,000 USD. The collection will be available for a limited time only via Tiffany & Co., with buyers given the opportunity to enter three separate draws (one per style) starting from November 29.
