Thursday Baseball Scores, Wins, and Losses

Thursday was an incredible day for baseball, as the MLB is finally in full swing after the start of the season.

There were many good matchups between different American League squads.

The Detroit Tigers defeated the Kansas City Royals, 4-2, with great pitching from both teams. The Seattle Mariners ended a four-game losing streak after defeating the Chicago White Sox, 5-1. The Oakland Athletics continue their hot start to the season after a confident win over the Tampa Bay Rays with a score of 6-3. The Texas Rangers also held on for a victorious win over the Los Angeles Angels with a 10-6 victory.

Many National League teams also played some fierce games on Thursday.

The Milwaukee Brewers defeated the St. Louis Cardinals, 5-1, after Brandon Woodruff shut down the entire Cardinals lineup. The Pittsburgh Pirates beat the Washington Nationals, 9-4, after the Pirates extended star outfielder Bryan Reynolds earlier in the day. The San Diego Padres completely smoked the Atlanta Braves with a 12-1 victory. Finally, The Miami Marlins narrowly beat the Philadelphia Phillies, 4-3.
