Mediabase has released their end of the year charts and the country chart is one that is definitely exciting to look at. The number one surprise might be a surprise to you, but it definitely wasn’t to us. Thomas Rhett’s “Die a Happy Man” took the title of top song in 2016! Congratulations Thomas on this number one hit and also the number 10 hit of the year, “T-Shirt.”
Others to have success in the top 10 include Old Dominion and Dierks Bentley, both of which had top three hits. Besides Thomas, there were no other artists with multiple top 10 hits.
