1993 – 22-year-old Philip Woldemariam was shot in Los Angeles and Snoop Doggy Dogg was charged with first-degree murder as an accomplice. Dogg’s bodyguard, McKinley Lee, was charged with first-degree murder. Lee and Dogg said the shooting was in self-defense after Woldemariam pulled a gun.
