Krispy Kreme’s doughnut greatness knows no bounds. Not only has it offered free donuts to graduates, blood donors, vaccine recipients and more, but it is also a flavor innovator, delivering a suite of pumpkin spice offerings just last month. Now, the double-K has added another flavor innovation to the menu, inspired by the classic Mexican churro.
From September 5th through the 18th, Krispy Kreme is launching trio of doughnut flavors called ChurrDoughs. The concoction combines the deep fried cinnamon dough of a churro and the flavor of a classic Krispy Kreme doughnut to form an all-new treat.
As their website states, “Our unbelievably mouthwatering, cinnamon-sugary masterpiece is here! Introducing the all-new Churrdough. We combined the best parts of a churro and a delicious Krispy Kreme doughnut to form three new Churrdough treats.”
Cinnamon Sugar Churrdough: An all-new churrdough tossed in cinnamon sugar, topped with swirls of cinnamon Kreme™ and salted caramel crunch pieces.
Cookies & Kreme™ Churrdough: An all-new churrdough tossed in cinnamon sugar, decorated with swirls of chocolate cookie Kreme™, topped with chocolate cookie pieces and drizzled with chocolate icing.
Dulce De Leche Churrdough: An all-new churrdough tossed in cinnamon sugar, decorated with swirls of cream cheese icing, topped with cookie pieces and dulce de leche drizzle.
