The Top Songs of 30 Years Ago

If you graduated college in 1986 you’re likely to be in your 50s. The 80s was a terrific decade of music which included British Invasion II, ‘Techno’ and Madonna of course. What were the top songs of 1986?

Prologue: As you can see 1986 was a great year for rock. Also, five of the top nine are British. Peter Gabriel, Steve Miller, Eric Clapton, Van Halen, Stevie Wonder and Genesis are now in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Only Mr. Mister and Eddie from this list are not in the Hall.
