Swedish House Mafia is generating a social storm with their recent Facebook and Twitters posts that hint the group may be getting back together again. A few years ago, some of the most interesting songs were coming from a group called the Swedish House Mafia, hitting the charts with “Save the World,” “Leave the World Behind,” and “Don’t You Worry Child,” their biggest selling single from 2013. The boys disbanded in late 2013 after an appearance in Miami for the MMW Festival.
Swedish House Mafia began as three club DJs, Axwell, Ingrosso and Steve Angello who decided that they could make history by joining forces, which they did in a short period of time. It’s been five years since they broke up at the Miami MMW Festival, and as luck would have it both Axwell and Ingrosso are going to be at the event, fueling rumors that Steve will secretly appear to put the band back together for the festival. Stay tuned.
