Pink Floyd is one of the most successful and groundbreaking rock bands of all time, having sold over 100 million in album sales and delivering two of most culturally life-changing albums in our lifetimes: “Dark Side of the Moon” and “The Wall.” If you think that was cool then check this out…
Coming at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, it’s ‘The Pink Floyd Exhibition: Their Mortal Remains’ making headlines last week as news of this “immersive, multi-sensory and theatrical journey,” exploring Pink’s musical journey, soup to nuts, will be chronicled. In other words, as “Dark Side” changed music forever, this exhibit will alter the way we think of museums or exhibits in general.
More than 350 artifacts, never seen before concert footage, memorabilia and the entire Pink Floyd journey are on display in this never before presentation of rock.
Here’s the kicker – The Pink Floyd Exhibition: Their Mortal Remains does; to open until May of 2017, but tickets are available now at the V and A online address.
