The Marshall Tucker Band Hits the Road in 2017

The Marshall Tucker Band began in the mid-70s as a really good garage band from Spartanburg, South Carolina, finding success as an early southern rock band. Here’s the most important thing you need to know about the band; there is not one person in the band named ‘Marshall Ticker.” The name of the band came from a blind Spartanburg-area piano tuner that rented the warehouse before the boys did, engraving his name on the key they used every day to get into the warehouse to practice. Marshall Tucker is the name on that key.
