The Hotel Cafe Royale in London will be bringing back the venue’s bar called ‘Ziggy’s’ designed to honor David Bowie this month. The bar, opening on September 20 at the Hotel Café Royal, is dedicated to David and his friends will reside right next to the Laurent restaurant, and much like any bar designed to remember a star, the walls of the establishment will feature a large collection of David Bowie photographs and more from various tours.
What makes this setting unique is that David retired his Ziggy Stardust character at a party in 1973, and invited all his friends to bury the alter ego in what’s been called the Ziggy Stardust “Last Supper.” ‘Ziggy’s’ will re-open September 20th, serving drinks named after the Ziggy persona.
