The Kinks are about to release a their 50th anniversary reissue of ‘The Kinks Are The Village Green Preservation Society on October 26th,’ and rocks fans can’ wait. The box set will include a two-LP vinyl set featuring that features stereo and mono versions of the original album, and five CDs that include the remastered original albums. Fans will also receive a few alternate and unreleased mixes and versions, and BBC rarities.
‘The Kinks Are The Village Green Preservation Society’ on October 26th includes a 52-page hardback book containing rare photos, audio interviews and Pete Townshend’s forward. Ray Davies of the Kinks also provides cliff notes of songs written in the studio at that time.
