The Dodgers’ championship drought ended last night. After 32 years, the Los Angeles Dodgers finally brought home their title of world champions. This win is the 7th World Series title the Dodgers have ever had.
The game was won 3-1. Mookie Betts, Max Muncy, and the rest of the boys in blue brought their A game, securing their win in one of the most intense post season in history. Despite Justin Turner being pulled from the game in the 7th inning, Julio Urias secured the win in the final moments of the game, striking out the Tampa Bay Rays.
The Dodgers’ Corey Seager wins the MVP award to cap the phenomenal postseason. Following his team’s victory over the Tampa Bay Rays in six games, Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager has been named Most Valuable Player of the 2020 World Series. He was the unanimous choice for the award.
