It was just announced that award-winning country singer Jeff Carson has died of a heart attack at the Williamson Medical Center in Franklin Tennessee.
Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Carson was behind chart-topping hits like “Yeah Buddy,” “Not on Your Love,” and “The Car.”
Carson pursued a career in country music from the years 1995 to 2009 before retiring to become a law enforcement officer with the Franklin Police Department in Williamson County, Tennessee.
He was 58 years old.
