This summer and early fall you may be asked to give your daughter away in matrimony, or in the church for a friend’s child’s wedding, so let’s go back and celebrate the moment a man and woman join together. Do you remember the songs that were played at your wedding? Here’s a small list of songs you may be hearing at a wedding, or at least a 50th wedding anniversary…
“The Wedding Song” performed by Paul Stookey of Peter Paul and Mary. This song was a standard after it was released and could be replicated by any local musician.
“Never My Love” by the Association was not only beautiful but your parents liked it.
“Butterfly Kisses” by Bob Carlisle is a new favorite that brings the tears to even the strongest of men
“Endless Love” by Lionel Richie & Diana Ross is a hit.
“Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Elvis was a wonderful wedding jam. This is a classic that has stood the test of time.
“Wonderful Tonight” by Eric Clapton is the breath-taking moment when you stare at the one that loves you.
