The Bee Gees to Be Honored Days After Grammys

The upcoming Grammy awards will be a celebration of music; it will also be a celebration of the Bee Gees. The Grammys will be held at the Microsoft Theater in LA on February 12th. Two days after the Grammy Awards, there will be an event called ‘Stayin’ Alive: A Grammy Salute to the Music of The Bee Gees.’

Barry Gibb, along with a variety of other popular artists, such as Nick Jonas, Andra Day, DNCE, Celine Dion, John Legend, Keith Urban, Demi Lovato and Little Big Town will help celebrate the 40th anniversary of the LP and movie ‘Staying Alive.’

Maurice and Robin both died well before their time. Little Brother Andy lost his life to a drug overdose decades ago as well. The Bee Gees have sold more than 200 million records, earned five Grammys and nearly every other award imaginable. The boys were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997.
