The Atlanta Braves only needed six games to win the World Series over the Houston Astros, 4-2. Last night, the Braves brought home the championship for the first time since 1995. The three-seed Braves convincingly defeated the Astros 7-0 in Game 6, which was the nail in the coffin that has the city of Atlanta filled with pride.
While there were many contributing players to the win, Jorge Soler was named World Series MVP as his three-run home run in Game 6 gave the Braves the only lead they needed. No Braves player is happier, however, than first-baseman Freddie Freeman, who has been with the team since 2010. While many star players often explore their options, Freeman has always and will continue to be fully devoted to Atlanta.
