The Academy Country Music Awards

According to 8newsnow.com, after 18 years of being hosted in Las Vegas the Academy of Country Music Awards will now be heading to Texas for their 58th annual award show. The 58th ACM Awards will be returning to Texas for the first time since the 50th ACM Awards when it was held in Texas instead of Las Vegas. On Tuesday, Prime Video made an announcement that the ACM Awards will be live streamed in 2023 from the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas on Thursday, May 11th. As stated by the CEO of the Academy of Country Music Damon Whiteside, “The Academy is proud to extend our relationship with Amazon to once again deliver the ACM Awards live to a global audience on Prime Video, The March 2022 show was a defining moment for the ACM and a huge step forward for country music, allowing audiences around the world to see their favorite artists perform live and be recognized for their excellence. We can’t wait to take the show to a new level for fans with an exciting new venue and integrated partnership with the Dallas Cowboys.” Las Vegas previously hosted the event starting in 2003 until 2015 when it was held in Texas for a single year before returning to Vegas. The 58th ACM Awards is set to be the first award show hosted at the Ford Center in Texas.
