The 2017 NASCAR Hall of Fame Class Inducted

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is the most prestigious final chapter for many musicians, Cooperstown for former professional baseball players, Canton, Ohio for their football counter-parts.

In NASCAR, there is the NASCAR Hall of Fame located in Charlotte NC, and a few days ago NASCAR welcomed its 2017 HOF class in style.

Admitted this year in the NASCAR Hall of Fame were drivers Mark Martin, and Benny Parsons, along with owners Richard Childress, Raymond Parks and Rick Hendrick; all joining 35 of NASCAR’s greatest in the Hall.

Mark Martin – 882 starts and 40 wins
Benny Parsons – 525 starts and 21 wins
Owner Raymond Parks – 18 starts and 2 wins (early 1938 owner)
Rick Hendrick – (Team) 3,552 stars and (Team) 240 wins
Owner Richard Childress – (Team) 2,596 starts and (Team) 105 wins
