Cincinnati’s three-day music festival Bunbury has announced a rock-heavy lineup for 2019. Fall Out Boy, Greta Van Fleet and The 1975 will headline the May 31-June 2 festival in Ohio.
“We are so excited to bring another weekend of great music to Cincinnati,” said PromoWest Productions’ Scott Stienecker in a release. “This lineup offers something for everyone which is so important. We always strive to host a variety of artists and we think we have done that again in 2019.”
Girl Talk, Run The Jewels, Machine Gun Kelly, AWOLNATION and Twenty One Pilots will also play the festival produced by PromoWest Productions. Set on the banks of the Ohio River, Bunbury will present additional sets from Sublime with Rome, Dashboard Confessional, Streetlight Manifesto, The Aces, Jukebox the Ghost and more.
Blink-182 was scheduled to headline Bunbury 2019 after the band cancelled its performance for the 2018 iteration of the festival just a few days before they were set to take the stage. Three days ago (Jan. 28) on social media, Blink-182 once again cancelled their appearance at the Cincinnati festival, stating “We are hard at work in the studio on our next album and will hopefully be announcing touring plans later this year. Unfortunately this means we will not be able to perform at this year’s Bunbury Music Festival. We apologize and as always, thank you all for the love and support.”
