Teyana Taylor’s ‘The Album’ Has A Third Certified Gold with ‘Bare With Me’

According to ratedrnb.com, Teyana Taylor’s, The Album, has recently earned its third gold certified award from the Recording Industry Association of America. “Bare With Me,” was co-produced by Bizness Boi, Cardiak, and Ninetyfour. Bare With Me gold certification comes after gold certifications for “Morning” and “How You Want It?” All three tracks come off of ‘The Album’ which came out in June of 2020. While Taylor’s top selling song, “Gonna Love Me,” is certified platinum and has over one million equivalent units in U.S. sales. The track comes off of her 2018 album, K.T.S.E.

Taylor also recently landed a role in The Smack, an indie thriller that is based on the novel of the same name, and is written by Richard Lange. The movie will co-star Oscar-winning actress Kathy Bates, Casey Affleck, Alan Arkin, Marisa Tomei, Isabel May, and Yul Vázquez. In an Instagram caption Taylor wrote, “Whewwwwww won’t he do it?! 😰 I meannnnnnnn AunTEY is in great company & I am honored 🥹🙏🏾 Thank you @rosenthaldm @wme for this amazing role! Let’s gooooooo 🎬.” Taylor also is going to be playing Inez in Thousand And One which is directed by A.V. Rockwell, and is also going to be starring in White Men Can’t Jump, a remake of the original 1992 basketball comedy.
