This week, we have focused a lot of our attention on the Grammys. This amazing award show has been running for almost 60 years now and it is the peak of someone’s music career just to win one Grammy. One artist who has won plenty of Grammys is Taylor Swift. We briefly touched on her wins at this year’s Grammy, but she’s done more than that in the past.
Overall, she has been nominated 29 times, but has only won 10 Grammys. Her music early on was of the country genre, but she has won country related awards as recent as 2014. Even though “Shake It Off” and “Red” were superstar albums, they were swept on all seven nominations at the 2014 and 2015 Grammys. That itself is amazing if you think about it.
Taylor’s best year at the Grammys was back in 2010 when she won four of her eight nominations. Her album, “Fearless,” won both the Album of the Year and Best Country Album. She became the youngest artist ever to win the Album of the Year, an award she has won twice (another record as she’s the only person to ever do this).
