Taylor Swift Surprises Wembley Crowd with Ed Sheeran Cameo During Eras Tour

Taylor Swift made a triumphant return to London’s Wembley Stadium for the second leg of her Eras Tour, treating fans to five electrifying shows. On Thursday, August 15, the pop icon surprised the packed stadium with a special guest: her longtime friend, Ed Sheeran.

As the crowd eagerly awaited the next surprise song, Swift introduced Sheeran, calling him “like a second brother.” She reminisced about their shared memories during the “Red” era of her career and praised Sheeran’s tireless work ethic, noting how he regularly plays at Wembley. Despite being on his own tour, Sheeran joined Swift on stage, much to the delight of the audience.

Together, the duo performed their hits “Everything Has Changed,” “End Game,” and Sheeran’s chart-topping “Thinking Out Loud,” delivering an acoustic set that marked their first on-stage collaboration in years. The pair, who have continued to collaborate over the years, most recently teamed up in 2022 for a remix of Sheeran’s “The Joker and the Queen.”

The concert also marked Swift’s return to the stage after canceling three shows in Vienna, Austria, due to security concerns. The canceled dates would have been her first performances in Austria.

Swift’s London shows have been filled with memorable moments, including a backstage visit from Prince William and his children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, during her June run. Her current stint at Wembley wraps up the European leg of the Eras Tour, with the final London show on August 20. Swift will resume the tour in October, hitting five more cities in North America before concluding the longest concert tour of her career.
