Taylor Swift Laughs Off “Snake-Gate” With Zoe Kravitz on Seth Meyers

During her recent appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Taylor Swift recounted a wild and unexpected houseguest story involving Zoe Kravitz and a missing Burmese python. The reptile, Orpheus, apparently vanished into a hole in the bathroom wall of Swift’s Beverly Hills home while Kravitz and her mother, Lisa Bonet, were staying there amid wildfire evacuations.

Swift said she first heard of the situation via her security team — her initial reaction was, “What snake?” She admitted she had no idea there was one on the premises. The rescue operation got dramatic: Kravitz, Bonet, and Swift’s house manager reportedly tore apart tiles, damaged walls, and even dismantled part of a vintage cupboard to retrieve Orpheus.

Despite the chaos, Swift took it all in stride, describing the incident as the “chicest thing” she’s ever heard and joking that the scene reminded her of a stylized photo shoot. She also revealed that Kravitz waited weeks before confessing the extent of the damage — which lined up with repairs already underway.

The guest-of-honor jested that she wasn’t mad — just disappointed she missed witnessing the spectacle herself. In true Swift fashion, she transformed a strange home mishap into a humorous anecdote on late-night TV.
