Taylor Swift Came Through on A Promise She Gave to a 13-Year-Old Burn Survivor

Amongst those attending the opening Eras Tour shows in Glendale, Arizona, was Isabella McCune a fan that has waited since 2018 to see Swift live. The 13 year old girl was a special guest of Swift’s, who gifted McCune four free tickets to night two of her State Farm Stadium dates.

McCune originally had hopes of attending Swift’s Reputation Tour five years prior but was unable to due to a terrible accident that left her with burns covering 65 percent of her body and kept her in the hospital for 9 months.

Swift visited Isabella when she was eight years old, in the hospital and left her a note saying, “Isabella, I hope you feel better soon,” the superstar wrote in 2018. “I’m so honored you’ve been listening to my music. You’re so awesome and I can’t wait to have you at a show. Stay strong, gorgeous. Love, Taylor.”

Since Swift was finally on the road again, McCune was actually able to make it to her show with some assistance from Valleywise Health Foundation, she was surprised with the tickets that were given to her by a medical professional while she was in a hospital bed.

She stated to ABC15 that, “Not only the fact that I’m able to go and I got these tickets gifted to me, they’re from Taylor Swift and her team and they remembered me, and thought of me to give me these tickets.”
