Tame Impala Wins Song of the Year

Earlier this week, the APRA Music Awards took place in Sydney, Australia and there were many big winners. The biggest winner of them all though might have been Tame Impala. The band has had plenty of success with their recent album, “Currents,” which was nominated for a Grammy as well as won an award at the Brit Awards earlier this year.

At the APRA Music Awards though, the band was up for Song of the Year and was very happy to be the winner of this prestigious award. Their song, “Let It Happen,” has been a huge hit and is very deserving of the award.

Other winners at the APRAs include Birds of Tokyo winning Rock Work of the Year and Alex Hope for Breakthrough Songwriter of the Year.
