Tamar Braxton’s ‘Love and War’ is Now Certified Platinum

According to ratedrnb.com, Tamar Braxton’s 2012 single, ‘Love and War,’ is now certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for reaching one million equivalent units sold, it is the first release by the Grammy-nominated singer to receive a reward from the organization. The ballad led the album cycle for Braxton’s 2013 sophomore album, Love and War. It was co-written by Braxton, Darhyl “DJ” Camper, LaShawn Daniels and Makeba Riddick and produced by Camper. Braxton told Essence at the time of the single’s release that, “I’ve been in love before, and I’ve gotten my feelings hurt before but I’ve never experienced passion until I met Vince,I’ve never argued this much with a person, and I’ve never loved this hard. That’s what this song is about.”

Braxton’s next album will be a follow up to her 2017 Bluebird of Happiness. The album contained single “my Man,” which peaked at number three on the Adult R&B Airplay Chart. Braxton is ready for the new album and is greeting fans across the United States with her talent on the R&B Music Experience Tour. Global Events Production will be presenting the all-star tour that is made up of Tevin Campbell, Monica, Ginuwine, Raheem DeVaughn, Xscape and many others.
