SZA to Dazzle at 2024 Grammys

SZA, the top nominee at the 2024 Grammy Awards, is confirmed to perform at the prestigious event, set for February 4th at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. This marks the artist’s second Grammy performance, following her debut six years ago as a Best New Artist nominee with the song “Broken Clocks” from her album “Ctrl.”

This year, SZA has secured an impressive nine nominations, competing in major categories including Album, Record, and Song of the Year. Her album “SOS” is considered a strong contender, up against works by Taylor Swift and Boygenius. The anticipation is high for SZA’s performance, as traditionally, the top nominees often grace the Grammy stage. However, there have been exceptions, notably Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Kendrick Lamar, and Michael Jackson, who chose not to perform in years they led nominations.

SZA joins a diverse lineup of announced performers, ranging from young stars like Olivia Rodrigo and Billie Eilish to veterans such as U2 and Billy Joel. U2’s performance is particularly notable, as they will be broadcasting from Sphere in Las Vegas.

Fans are eagerly awaiting confirmation of additional performers, with particular curiosity about Taylor Swift’s participation. The Grammys will also feature other Album of the Year nominees like Janelle Monáe, Lana Del Rey, Miley Cyrus, Jon Batiste, and more. The event promises to be a celebration of music across generations and genres, spotlighting the industry’s finest talents.
