Suns and Heat Win Game 1 on Monday Night’s NBA Semi-Finals

Monday night featured two great matchups in the NBA Playoffs, as the Semi-Final Round officially begins.

The Phoenix Suns took the first game of their series against the Dallas Mavericks, with a 121-114 victory. The Suns continue to be the West Conference favorite, especially after star shooting guard Devin Booker returned on Monday. Phoenix now maintains a 1-0 lead over Dallas, with their next game taking place tomorrow at 7 pm PST.

In the East Semi-Finals, the Miami Heat defeated the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 1, with a 106-92 victory. Miami was in the Finals in 2020, and they continue their impressive play with the hopes of returning with a championship win. The Heat was led by point guard Tyler Herro, who scored 25 points and had seven assists. The next matchup between the Heat and the 76ers tips off tomorrow at 4:30 pm PST.
