Sunday NBA Wins: Nuggets, Bucks, Heat, Pelicans

Sunday was an exciting day for many NBA and multiple NBA teams.

The Denver Nuggets salvaged the series by defeating the Golden State Warriors, 126-121. Before Sunday, the Warriors were up 3-0 in the series and looking for a series sweep against the Nuggets. However, star Nuggets Center Nikola Jokic had something to say about that, as he dominated Sunday’s game by scoring 37 points and securing 8 rebounds.

The Milwaukee Bucks took a dominating lead in their series against the Chicago Bulls, as the Bucks go up 3-1 after Sunday’s victory. The Bucks destroyed the Bulls in their 119-95 victory by winning in all three phases of the game. Former league MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo was the star once again for the Buck as he scored 32 points, snagged 17 rebounds, and dished out 7 assists.

The Miami Heat also took a commanding 3-1 lead in their series with the Atlanta Hawks, after a 110-86 victory last night. Star veteran Jimmy Butler led the way for the Heat with 36 points, while also securing 10 rebounds.

After Devin Booker’s injury, the Phoenix Suns appear to be in free fall. The New Orleans Pelicans tied the series with the Phoenix Suns yesterday, after a convincing 118-103 victory. The 8th seed Pelicans continue to shock the powerful Suns as Brandon Ingram scored 30 points while Jonas Valanciunas grabbed 15 rebounds. The series now sits at 2-2.
