Styx Announces ‘The Grand Illusion’ Las Vegas Residency for Early 2025

Styx is set to take over Las Vegas with a week-long residency at The Venetian Resort in early 2025. During this special series of shows, the iconic Chicago rock band will perform their multi-platinum 1977 album, The Grand Illusion, in its entirety. Fans can also expect to hear other hits from the group’s impressive 50-year career.

The five-show residency is scheduled for January 24th, 25th, 29th, 31st, and February 1st. The band announced the residency with an Instagram post on September 16, featuring the Rene Magritte-inspired album art from The Grand Illusion. In the caption, Styx wrote, “Styx is coming back to VEGAS! And this time, we’re playing The Grand Illusion in full PLUS your favorite hits! Let’s rock Vegas, Styx World! See you at The Venetian!”

This residency promises to be a unique experience for fans, offering a rare opportunity to see one of Styx’s most beloved albums performed live from start to finish, alongside a setlist packed with fan favorites from their extensive catalog.
