What Do Sting, Elton John and the Beatles Have in Common?

Lead singers get the girls and background singers get the luggage. Here are more songs with famous or odd well known singers helping out other stars…

“Money for Nothing” by Dire Straits has the backgrounds of Sting who is all over the song.

This will throw you off a cliff, but the song “The Wall” by Pink Floyd has the background vocals of (70s “Love Will Keep Us Together”) The Captain and Tennille, and Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys.

“Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me” by Elton John employed the background voices of The Captain and Tennille, and Brian Wilson and Bruce Johnston of the Beach Boys. You may remember turnabout is fair play as in the 90s Wham’s George Michael did his own version of the song and brought out the original Elton John to finish the 2nd half of the song.

“All You Need is Love” by the Beatles contains the background voices of popular Mick Jagger, Eric Clapton, Marianne Faithfull, and Keith Moon of The Who. How Keith got into that song is beyond us.
