Some Much-Anticipated Design Debuts are ready to walk the Paris Men’s Fashion Week Runways

On Monday morning the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode released the official provisional calendar for Paris Men’s Fashion Week, and it promises to be a week of much-anticipated design debuts as well as a triumphant return.

As Hypebeast reports, when the event kicks off on January 21, 68 brands are planned to present their FW25 menswear lines in the first week alone, followed by the haute couture presentations starting on January 27 from 28 different houses. Along with usual shows from Pharrell at Louis Vuitton, Kim Jones at Dior Homme, Junya Watanabe, and Comme des Garçons, new additions include the Paris debut of Willy Chavarria and the return of Jacquemus to its home city.

The men’s schedule will open with a presentation from Japanese label Auralee on January 21 at 4:30 pm CEST and end on the 26th with Peter Copping‘s debut as director at Lanvin. On the 22nd Paris debuts will be made by the 2022 winner of the LVMH Prize for Young Designers, S.S. Daley, and the 2024 winner of the Special Prize at the ANDAM Fashion Awards, 3.Paradis. The next day, Issey Miyake will replace its usual HOMME PLISSE show with a debut from its IM MEN line, followed by a show from Rick Owens and Yohji Yamamoto.

In haute couture, Alessandro Michele‘s much-anticipated co-ed debut for Valentino and Ludovic de Saint Sernin’s guest collection for Jean Paul Gaultier will take place on January 29 at 5 pm and 7 pm CEST, respectively.
