Beyonce is a superstar in the music world, but don’t forget about her sister, Solange. She’s a star as well and just recently she was recognized as one at the 2017 Black Girls Rock Awards. At this award show she took home the Rock Star award.
Others to win hardware at this one include Roberta Flack and Yara Shahidi among others.
You will be able to see this award show later this month as its going to be aired on the BET network. Host Taraji P. Henson will obviously be a big part of this one that we can see August 22.
