Snoop Dogg Is Prepping For New ‘Missionary’ Album With Dr. Dre

On Tuesday, February 7th, Snoop Dogg took to Instagram in order to confirm that new music from him and Dre will be released in the coming months. Writing, “Dynamic. Duo, Music comin summer 23.”

The announcement comes only months after Snoop stated that he would be working on a new album with Dr. Dre called Missionary, that serves as the spiritual successor to his 1993 Debut Doggystyle.

When Snoop Dogg originally dropped the news he stated at the time, “I’ma tell you this, you’re the first one to hear this: me and Dr. Dre have been working on an album for the past two months, And it’ll be done in November. It’s produced by Dr. Dre, it’s our 30th anniversary to Doggystyle. And the name of the album is Missionary.”

Snoop also told reporters back in August of 2022 that, “[Dre and I] are cooking up a little something, I don’t wanna talk about it too much, but we’re back together again. It’s been 30 years since we worked on a record, and we’re doin’ something, we’re workin’ on something.”
