According to guitar.com, Slash has announced a new book that explains the many guitars he has played over the years. The 300 page book, titled, The Collection: Slash, includes illustrations and photos of Slash’s personal guitars along with interviews with the Guns N’ Roses guitarist himself. The Collection: Slash is the debut release from Gibson Publishing, a brand new division of the Gibson guitar company. Slash was quoted in saying that, “It’s been a blast working with Gibson to create a platform for me to talk about my favorite thing: guitars, This book is a great exposé of all the great guitars I’ve collected over many years.” The Collection: Slash is going to be released in a variety of formats, including a signed $999 Custom Edition, that includes, an Axe Heaven Appetite Les Paul miniature guitar and an “exclusive Slash bandana.” Pre-orders are now available via Gibson.com and while waiting for your copy to arrive you can watch slash talk about guitars in Gibson’s The Collection series on YouTube.
