Just weeks after the sellout success of the Dolce & Gabbana x SKIMS capsule collection, Kim Kardashian is back with another high-profile collaboration – this time with outdoor performance giant The North Face.
The North Face and Skims have teamed up for a limited edition collection that reimagines The North Face’s archival styles through SKIMS’ signature beige-tinted aesthetic, blending the outdoors brand’s technical expertise with the label’s reputation for sleek, form-flattering designs. Featuring a palette of nudes, browns (Pantone Mocha Mousse, anyone?), and blacks, the collection offers a winter wardrobe that transitions from the adventure of alpine slopes to the cosy chalet-ready comfort – and beyond.
“This marks SKIMS’s first-ever foray into the world of winter wear and partnering with The North Face allowed us to leverage their expertise in this category. The collection is a combination of functional and flattering apparel solutions for the season,” Skims’ co-founder Kim Kardashian (who also stars in the campaign) said in a statement. “I’ve spent a lot of time on the slopes, so I was definitely inspired when we were developing this collection and I can’t wait to wear these pieces on my next trip.”
As ELLE reports, the campaign, shot by Vanessa Beecroft, features models navigating the peaks and slopes of Chilean mountain ranges. A second campaign by Donna Trope depicts Kardashian in standout pieces, including the Dotknit Crew, Seam Taped Pant, and Refina Long Sleeve Top, emphasising the monochromatic layering and functionality central to the collection.
This new venture marks an exciting evolution for SKIMS as it expands into performance-driven winter wear for the first time, further solidifying its place as a brand that spans every facet of our modern wardrobes – from underwear to outerwear.
The North Face x SKIMS collection will be available to shop on SKIMS.com, at SKIMS-owned retail locations, select The North Face retail locations, and in select luxury retailers including SSENSE, Highsnobiety, and Luisa via Roma from December 10, 2024. The collection offers a range of pieces available in sizes XXS – 3X, S-XL, mules in sizes 5-11 with prices ranging from $60 to $1,200.
