SiR from Inglewood, California, has a current single titled “Nothing Even Matters” has hit number nine on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart this week. Marking the very first time that he has managed to make it inside the top 10 on this or any other airplay chart.
Nothing Even Matters was produced by SamTRax and also earns SiR his first top ten hit on R&B radio for the week ending on March 4th, at number ten. The track is the third single off of his upcoming album, Heavy. Nothing Even Matters has garnered over 10.4 million streams on Spotify since its release on September 23rd of 2022. The video on YouTube also has 2.4 million views.
Heavy is SiR’s third album, a follow up to 2019’s Chasing Summer. SiR said of the two projects previously, “It’s different for me. It’s not Chasing Summer. We did a great job being in the moment with [Chasing Summer] and trying to give the fans something that was me at the time. In this next project, we’re doing the same thing, but in a different way.”
Meanwhile, SiR made a vocal appearance for Creed III: The Soundtrack, which is presented by Dreamville. The track “Lay Up” also features Syd.
