The APRA Music Awards are happening on April 5 and we have learned of the nominees for the event. The leader of the pack for the Australian Performing Rights Association Award show are Sia and Jarryd James with four nominations!
Sia is up for two awards twice, which is quite impressive if you think about it. She’s up for pop work of the year and most played Australian work. The two songs that have taken her to these nominations are “Flashlight,” which is a Jessie J jam, and “Elastic Heart.”
Just last year, Sia made waves winning songwriter of the year for the third year in a row. This was something that had never been done before.
The APRA Music Awards will be held on April 5 in Sydney, Australia.
