Thanksgiving is here. It’s a great day with a few football games the boys can watch. Black Friday comes tomorrow, the biggest shopping day of the year. Let’s reflect on what we have to be thankful for…
We’re thankful for Prince, Glenn Frey, Maurice White of Earth Wind and Fire, Leon Russell, Frank Sinatra Jr, and Natalie Cole. May they be at peace where they are.
We’re thankful Ed Sullivan booked the Beatles in February of 1964, thankful that Celine Dion continues on after the loss of her husband and brother this year, and thankful that Adele is as talented as she is. Thank you Justin Timberlake and Phil Collins as well!
We’d also like to thank all the men that caused Taylor Swift heart aches, for without her pain we might not have her heart felt songs.
We’re thankful for the 80s, as we don’t know what we would have done without Jon Bon Jovi, Duran Duran, the ballads of Van Halen, or the classic song ‘Tainted Love’ from Soft Cell among others.
We’re thankful that Los del Rio no longer records (creators of the Macarena) and we appreciate Madonna, who is finally dressing age appropriate.
