According to Cmt.com, Country Music Icon Shania Twain has been encouraged by her doctor to cancel her Las Vegas residency until further notice, stating on June the 22nd. The residency at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino ‘s Zappos Theatre hosts the stars show, gave fans an update on social media ahead of the concert apologizing for the last minute cancelation that occurred. The star also talked about it on Twitter stating, “I am sad to say that I woke up this morning feeling unwell and with no voice, I am under strict doctors orders to rest and not sing.” . The star also encouraged fans to reach out to their ticket providers to get refunds if they bought tickets for the shows she isn’t performing at. However the star also clarified that, “Nothing makes me happier than being on stage and performing for you so I’m extremally disappointed to cancel tonight’s show,” Twain stated. “I’m going to do everything I can to get back on stage for this Friday and Saturday,”. She will be doing her best to perform for her shows this upcoming weekend, the 24th and 25th. This isn’t the first problem she has had with her voice, back in 2014 she was diagnosed with dysphonia and Lyme disease which resulted in a loss of her voice entirely.
