Crossover singing sensation Shania Twain made news recently by announcing that she’s about to drop her latest album, the first since 2002! Sure she’s had duets with Michael Buble and Lionel Richie over the years, but a new Shania LP is the bomb!
Not to be stereotyped into one music genre, Shania has brought in Ed Sheeran, One Direction, James Bay and legend Bruce Springsteen to guide or collaborate in the production of the project.
Shania’s birth name was Eilleen Regina Edwards. In high school Shania worked at the local McDonalds, but eventually found her way on stage to sing, Her rise to fame and fortune was a bumpy one.
Her marriage to rock producer Mutt Lange (that’s where she earned her chops as a performer, plus the LPs he produced ware magnificent for radio play) was both the best and worst thing that ever happened to her. They have one child together. Mutt used to call her ‘Woody’ as a nickname, and she hated it. They divorced in 2010.
