Seether’s Shaun Morgan Wins Artistic Expression Award

Seether’s Shaun Morgan has recently won an award for his work, but it’s not one you typically see the band win. This time the band’s frontman has won the Artistic Expression Award given to those who do extraordinary work outside the field of music. It is given out by the National Council for Behavioral Health.

Morgan has done tremendous work trying to raise awareness for suicide prevention and with good reason. Tragically, his own brother took his own life years back. If for some reason you need another reason to go out and see the band in concert then know that a portion of your ticket to the Rise Above Festival will go towards this fight. What a great man Morgan is for the cause and we hope everything goes better than expected. The tour will begin Aug. 6 in Maine and will have other bands joining them like Disturbed, Killswitch Engage, and Memphis May Fire among a few others.
