At Samsung’s Unpacked 2022 event held last week, the tech giant gave their fans what they’ve been anxiously awaiting: the Galaxy S22 series is finally here.
The new Samsung Galaxy S22 series comprises the Galaxy S22, S22+ and the Galaxy S22 Ultra, and the Galaxy S22 series is powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, (and the Exynos 2200 chip in some regions). Samsung also brings new storage variants to the series, along with improved camera setups, photography features, and a promise of four years of OS updates. This means that the Galaxy S22, S22 Plus and S22 Ultra, which launched with Android 12, will be upgradeable all the way till Android 16.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 is priced at $799 while the Galaxy S22+ is priced at $999 and the Galaxy S22 Ultra is priced at $1,199.
But wait, there’s more. Samsung also announced three new tablets with the Tab S8 series, including the Tab S8, Tab S8+ and Tab S8 Ultra. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 comes with a lot of new features, improved performance and much more, all with a thin chassis and slim bezels.
The Samsung Tab S8 is priced at $699, and the Tab S8+ and Tab S8 Ultra are priced at $899 and $1,099 respectively.
