Sacha Baron Cohen has traded Borat’s mustache for muscle in a dramatic new transformation that’s got the internet doing a double take. Posing shirtless for Men’s Fitness UK, the 52-year-old actor revealed a sculpted physique as he preps for his upcoming role as Mephisto, Marvel’s devilish villain in the anticipated Ironheart miniseries.
Social media quickly erupted over Cohen’s unexpected glow-up. “Is this AI?” one user asked. Cohen responded with signature wit on Instagram: “This is not AI. I really am egotistical enough to do this.”
The comedian didn’t hold back in poking fun at his fitness journey, writing, “Some celebs use Ozempic, some use private chefs, others use personal trainers. I did all three.” He credited 25-minute workouts and protein shakes — not beer — for the new look.
Cohen’s transformation follows a turbulent year, including his quiet split from Isla Fisher after over 20 years together and a public feud with Rebel Wilson, who accused him of misconduct on The Brothers Grimsby set — allegations Cohen has firmly denied.
