Sabrina Carpenter has always felt destined for pop stardom. In a recent cover story for PAPER Magazine, the 25-year-old pop sensation opened up about her journey and the determination that has fueled her career.
Carpenter, known for her hit single “Feather,” shared that while she wasn’t certain when her music career would take off, she always knew it was inevitable. “I don’t know how to describe it,” she told the magazine. “As a child, I just had this feeling that I was meant to do this. I knew I would be following this path for the rest of my life, whatever that looked like for me.”
From a young age, Carpenter was driven by “dreams and goals,” and she credits her success to her ability to manifest her desires. “I’m a bit of a freak manifester, which can be both a blessing and a curse,” she admitted. “But deep down, I always knew this was my destiny, even when things got tough.”
In June, Carpenter announced her highly anticipated sixth studio album, Short n’ Sweet, featuring viral singles like “Espresso” and “Please Please Please.” She took to social media to share her excitement: “MY NEW ALBUM IS COMING OUT AUGUST 23rd!!!!💋 This project is quite special to me, and I hope it’ll be something special to you too.”
The album’s cover art features Carpenter’s long blonde hair cascading down her back, with a red kiss mark on her left shoulder and a tiny “Short n’ Sweet” tattoo on her right shoulder. Short n’ Sweet is set to drop today, Friday, August 23rd.
