Rush has postponed two scheduled concerts in Fort Worth, Texas after singer and bassist Geddy Lee was diagnosed with laryngitis and bronchitis.
The band announced that Lee’s medical team advised him to take additional time to recover before returning to the stage, making it necessary to delay the performances originally planned for June 30 and July 2 at Dickies Arena.
In a message to fans, the group expressed disappointment over the decision and acknowledged that many concertgoers had already made travel arrangements. Rush said its priority has always been delivering the highest quality performance, and the band felt it could not meet that standard while Lee was recovering.
The June 30 concert has been rescheduled for July 11, while the July 2 performance will now take place on July 13. Previously purchased tickets will be accepted on the new dates, and refunds are available for those unable to attend.
The latest postponements come shortly after another schedule change caused by travel and border delays following the band’s Mexico City performances. Despite the recent setbacks, Rush expects to resume its North American tour once Lee has recovered, with international shows also planned for 2027.
