RuPaul and his Team Postpone ‘All Stars 4’ Cast Announcement After Thousand Oaks Shooting

On Wednesday, November 7th, it was announced that the cast of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 4 would be revealed in a stream with Drag Race royalty Trixie Mattel, Katya and Detox. But yesterday, November 9th, the show announced it was postponing the cast announcement due to last night’s tragic shooting in California.

“Our hearts are with those impacted by yet another act of mass gun violence. In light of the news from Thousand Oaks, CA last night, we are rescheduling the social RuVeal with @trixiemattel, @TheOnlyDetox and @katya_zamo to tomorrow morning at 10am,” read a tweet from the official RuPaul’s Drag Race account.

Wednesday night, a shooter opened fire at Borderline Bar & Grill in Thousand Oaks, Calif. Twelve people were killed and another dozen were injured. The shooter, identified as 28-year-old Marine Corps Ian David Long, is dead, according to police.

The All Stars 4 announcement has been rescheduled for 10:00 a.m. ET on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube on today, November 9th. Read the tweet here.
