Roger Waters is putting a new spin on the Pink Floyd catalog, handing the stage to the next generation while remaining closely involved behind the scenes.
Roger Waters Presents LEGACY: A Pink Floyd Show will launch in 2027 with Roger’s son Harry Waters serving as musical director and leading a 10-piece band. Roger is helping shape the production but is not scheduled to perform.
The show will concentrate on Pink Floyd’s influential 1971-1979 period, with music drawn from landmark albums including The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals and The Wall.
Harry Waters will perform on B3 organ, piano and vocals while overseeing a band assembled to recreate the music with an emphasis on the sound of the original recordings. The concert will also incorporate an extensive visual presentation inspired by the imagery associated with Pink Floyd and Roger Waters’ creative work during his years with the band.
One of the biggest questions surrounding the project was who would handle the lead vocals.
Earlier in 2026, Roger and Harry launched an open search for a singer capable of tackling the demanding material. Approximately 3,000 submissions later, the job went to Clifton David Broadbridge, a Canadian-born vocalist based in Nashville. Broadbridge advanced from the open audition process to an in-person audition with Harry before securing the role.
The resulting production brings together the creative influence of one of Pink Floyd’s founding members with a band led by a musician who has his own long history with the material. Harry spent more than 15 years performing alongside his father and has also established himself as a pianist and composer.
LEGACY is planned as more than a short run of tribute concerts. The announced North American itinerary includes 58 dates divided into two legs.
The first begins February 15, 2027, in Columbus, Georgia, and continues through May 2 in Wilmington, North Carolina. The production returns August 31 in Vancouver before traveling through additional western and central markets and concluding the announced schedule September 25 in St. Louis.
Plans for the overall production are even larger, with organizers expecting LEGACY to eventually visit more than 100 cities across North America and Europe.
General ticket sales for the announced North American concerts are scheduled to begin October 2 at 10 a.m. local time.
For Pink Floyd fans, the production offers a distinctly family-driven approach to keeping the band’s classic catalog on the road. Roger Waters is shaping the vision, Harry Waters is leading the musicians, and a singer discovered through an international open audition will step up to the microphone.
The father’s music is staying on the road, but this time the son is leading the band.
