The JUNO Award nominations have been announced and we couldn’t be more excited. This year’s award show is sure to be a great time and we are really looking forward to see who will be taking home some hardware come March. The exact date of this one is March 24 and will feature big names in rock like Arcade Fire, Death From Above, Nickelback and more!
There’s one rock specific award and it is for Rock Album of the Year. Those up for this one are “Feed the Machine” from Nickelback, “Wake Up Call” from Theory, “Grace Street” from Big Wreck, “Outrage! Is Now” from Death From Above and “Young Beauties and Fools” from The Glorious Sons. It’s going to be highly contested for sure! Alternative Album of the Year features albums from Alvvays, Weaves, Tanya Tagaq, Arcade Fire, and Land of Talk.
Arcade Fire has multiple nominations at this year’s show including Album Artwork of the Year, Single of the Year, Alternative Album of the Year, Album of the Year, and Group of the Year.
