Rob49 Clarifies Details of Shooting Alongside French Montana In January

Rob49 recently cleared up the details of a shooting that took place alongside French Montana in January that left 10 people injured. Rob49 was one of the individuals shot in Miami, Florida in January. The shooting happened outside of The Licking restaurant in Miami Gardens, where they were celebrating the release of their single “Igloo.”

Rob stated, “We were just chilling and we just wanted to perform the song and shit and celebrate because it was dropping that night, So we just went to turn up with him. I saw [reports] that it was a music video and I was like alright I’m not even about to clear that up.”

French Montana put out a heartfelt statement after the incident stating, “Last night, I was in Miami celebrating the release of my CB6 mixtape w/ friends at a local restaurant, We unfortunately were at the wrong place, at the wrong time when an incident took place that left people hurt. Our thoughts & prayers are w/ the victims & families at this time.”

Meanwhile, Rob49 concluded saying that, “You never know man, you gotta go, You gotta go man. Life too short to be holding that sh-t.” Referencing how his creativity has grown since the shooting occurred.
